Jeevan Padiyar


Mr. Padiyar is a technology entrepreneur and investor who has successfully built and exited several technology companies. Jeevan brings extensive experience in financial and competitive analysis, corporate re-structuring, private placements for early stage corporations, branding/brand management, new media, project management and operations. Currently Jeevan serves as an advisor to Squarespace, Inc.(a website/blog SAAS), Chairman of Intersuasive, Inc (a guerrilla marketing company), and is a principal in element^n (a rapid application technology firm).

In 1994, while a freshman at Kansas State University, Jeevan founded SimplyBlimps, a maker and seller of arena blimps and led it to over 150 employees and $30 million in sales within five years. After Simply Blimps, Jeevan studied medicine as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Fellow at Albert Einstein College, focusing on novel antimicrobial agents and vaccine strains for Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. His research, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences is frequently cited in scientific literature as instrumental to the understanding of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis.

Following medical School, Jeevan helped shape the podcasting revolution as chairman and chief financial officer of RawVoice, Inc., which created the first podcasting network and was among the first to monetize the medium. RawVoice properties totaled more than ten million downloads per month two years after its launch in 2005. At RawVoice, Jeevan also oversaw the company’s first acquisition and established landmark agreements with GoDaddy, Citrix and Nokia. In tandem with Rawvoice, Jeevan was recruited to serve as IT Director for Mark Green’s campaign for Attorney General.

Jeevan holds B.S. degrees in chemistry, chemical engineering and biochemistry from Kansas State University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. 



Chris Briseno

Mr. Briseno is currently a principal of technology firm element^n as well as in the Connectors Group. In 1995 Mr. Briseno was a founding partner of Sensenet, Inc., one of the premier web design firms at the dawn of the internet era. He was responsible for the original Proctor & Gamble, Crest, Hugo Boss, and Rogaine websites.In addition, Sensenet created sites for Pfizer, Sprint, Metamucil, Olean, Captain Morgan and Showtime.

Mr Briseno then joined Bates Advertising where he created their Interactive Group. At Bates he worked on campaigns for clients such as Warner Lambert, Johnson & Johnson, Cadbury-Adams, Nestlé, Moët et Chandon, EDS, US Military, and ONDCP (Office of National Drug Control Policy). Mr. Briseno co-founded YourDay.com which was developed, brought to market and sold in an eight-figure deal within six months. Mr Briseno joined Deltathree in 1999 a leader in the development of VOIP technology. He created a consumer brand called iConnectHere.com and a product called Calliope, which helped to establish the consumer VOIP market.

Chris Briseno has a B.F.A. in Art History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies from New York University.

Joe Daniels

Mr. Daniels is senior counsel with Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., our outside counsel, and has been advising us since our formation. He joined the New York office of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. in 2003. From 1999 to 2002, he practiced with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California, and from 1996 to 1999 he practiced with DLA Piper (formerly known as Gray Cary Ware Freidenrich) in San Diego, California.

Joe's practice focuses on a wide variety of corporate, finance and securities law matters, including:

Joe also represents major investment banks in their underwriting of public offerings, venture capital funds in their investments, and private equity funds in leveraged buy-outs.
